Responsibility
- Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu specifications.
- Ensure consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to develop menu items and create new recipes.
- Maintain a safe working environment in the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Receive deliveries, check invoices, and verify product weight and expiration dates.
- Adhere to the Company’s HACCP, Workplace Health & Safety, and Quality Assurance programs and guidelines.
- Experience with breakfast and pastries is a plus.
- A strong enthusiasm and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Coffee and bar-tending skills would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in an à la carte restaurant or bar, including tray service and managing large volumes of tables.
- Proficiency with POS ordering systems and cash handling.
- Solid knowledge of wine, its service, and the ability to make recommendations to guests.
- A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol).
- Willingness to complete our designated training program.
- Flexible availability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
